RABBITS

RABBITS IN IAA

Rabbits can be a valuable protagonist in Animal Assisted Interventions (AAI) thanks to their calm nature, the softness of their fur, and the delicate way they relate to people.

It is particularly suitable for activities with children, the elderly, and people with disabilities or emotional fragility, especially when it is helpful to offer calm, respectful, and minimally invasive contact. Stroking, observing, offering, or caring for your pet can promote relaxation, attention, fine motor skills, empathy, and a sense of responsibility.

Their delicate nature, however, is also a fundamental aspect: rabbits are sensitive and fragile animals, both physically and behaviorally. They can be easily frightened by noises, sudden movements, or inappropriate handling and must therefore always be protected, respecting their timing, their signals, and their ability to withdraw from interaction. In AAI, the animal's well-being always comes before the activity.

At this time, the Invisible Bond Association does not yet have any rabbits included in its AAI projects. The photographs published here are therefore purely illustrative and are intended to illustrate and illustrate the characteristics of this wonderful animal in AAI.
